With their unique combination of harmonium, violins, distorted guitars, thundering drums, and roaring vocals, Kellermensch has revived rock music. The international live phenomenon moves audiences with beautiful, intense, painful, and dramatic performances. It’s no wonder the band is hailed as Denmark’s best live band.

In the midst of a successful tour featuring multiple sold-out shows, including two sold-out nights at The Royal Danish Theatre's Old Stage, KELLERMENSCH is now announcing a nationwide tour.

With their unique combination of harmonium, violins, distorted guitars, thundering drums, and roaring vocals, the six-piece band has, in recent years, revived rock music. On stage, they have transformed from a relentless, noise-driven rock band rooted in Esbjerg’s underground scene into an international live phenomenon, moving audiences with beautiful, intense, painful, and dramatic performances of almost theatrical dimensions. It’s no wonder the band is hailed as Denmark’s best live band.

It is with this energy that Kellermensch embarks on a tour, stepping onto stages across the country.

Glowing reviews have poured in for the group from Esbjerg, most recently for their hometown concert in Esbjerg (Gaffa: 6 stars), their SPOT Festival 2024 performance (Gaffa: 5 stars), and earlier for Copenhell in 2023, where the band delivered a triumphant concert, receiving 5 hearts in Politiken.

Nils Gröndahl performs alone on stage. With his detuned violin and a multitude of effect pedals, he creates an intense blend of droning riffs, melancholic ballads with German lyrics, and grand Gothic noise cathedrals.
Nils has performed solo concerts everywhere from DR's concert hall to Belgian churches and the ladies' toilets of Bremen Theater.

In addition to his solo work, he has been a member of the band Under Byen and collaborated with a wide range of Danish and international artists, including arranging strings for Sky Ferreira, Baby In Vain, and Iceage, as well as performing as a violinist for bands like Kellermensch, Jacob Bellens, MØ, and many others.
