After a grand finale at Jelling Music Festival back in May, where the artist STOREBJERG was selected by music industry experts as the winner of Quasar Live 2024, a new cohort of Quasar talents is now ready to take the stages in the largest cities of Southern Denmark. Fifteen new artists will perform small concerts from November through February at eight selected venues.
The artists have been chosen based on their material, which has been reviewed by industry professionals, who are thrilled with the level of talent in this year’s Quasar lineup. You can explore the fifteen selected artists on Jelling Music Festival's website: https://jellingmusikfestival.dk/program/quasar-live-2025/
Each Quasar Live evening features four mini-concerts, offering something for everyone. Each night, the audience will have the chance to share their opinions through a vote that spans all eight concert dates.
The preliminary rounds of Quasar Live will conclude at Posten in Odense on February 20, after which the judges will select four finalists. The result of the audience voting will reveal who has won a performance slot at Jelling Music Festival 2025.
The lineup for this evening at Godset is:
Midsommer
Midsommer delivers authentic alternative pop-rock with a unique live experience. Frontmen Victor Nicolaisen and August Skovhus lead the way with a powerful blend of hard guitar tones inspired by progressive rock and an emotional, pop-infused vocal style that defines the band’s sound. With English lyrics, Midsommer creates a poetic and mystical atmosphere as they explore life’s challenges. In 2023, they debuted with the singles "The Sky Is Falling Down" and "Fly," followed by the EP Serenity In Conflict in 2024, which tackles themes such as mental states, imbalance, and love. Together with Mikkel on keys, Johan on drums, and Magne on bass, Midsommer brings their music to life on stage. Midsommer is heading for new heights—come fly with them as they take off.
Sogard
Sogard is a critically acclaimed Alternative Pop-Rock Power Trio from Kolding, comprised of three young men in their early twenties with deep roots in creating music that tells a story, accompanied by lyrics that make you feel and think. Their sound offers a nostalgic nod to the heart and soul of the 1970s, while leaving no doubt that the music is written and produced in the present day. What particularly sets Sogard apart is their live performances and stage presence. No two Sogard concerts are the same, as the band’s connection to their music and embrace of spontaneity create a unique experience for every show.
KRAMMER
KRAMMER is a young, female solo artist from the heart of Jutland. Her musical universe draws inspiration and elements from pop, jazz, and RnB, blending them into an ethereal and ambient cocktail. Catchy lyrics about the people and experiences she has encountered in her life form the foundation of her music. Layered vocal harmonies, alongside flute, percussion, and electronic hooks, elevate the otherwise down-to-earth songs to a higher level. On stage, KRAMMER creates a unique universe that captivates throughout the entire set.
Mica Lizio
Mica Lizio embraces the ever-changing nature of everyday life, delivering a special intensity and emotional depth as she gives voice to feelings and experiences inspired by human encounters along her journey. Her music fosters both diversity and inclusivity, while also exploring contrasts through her Danish lyrics, blended with a sound rooted in her Italian and Korean heritage, giving her expression a distinct tone and color. Catchy melodies and pure pop are juxtaposed with thought-provoking lyrics that invite interpretation and reflection.
