The sun knocks on the door, spring is emerging, and we're giving it a push with a much-needed session of live music as we once again open the doors to Godset Songwriter featuring three fantastic artists!

Welcome to Godset Songwriter, where you can experience exciting songwriters from the budding music scene.

We present both artists who have already established themselves on the Danish music scene and those who are just beneath the surface, possibly the next ones to take on bigger stages.

The lineup on a Godset Songwriter night is a mix of external names and local artists, totaling three, each performing a set typically in an acoustic setup.

SASHA ADRIAN
In a powerful contrast between distortion guitar, pop melodies, and expressive vocals, Sasha Adrian creates a space for temperamental vulnerability that is both liberating and intimate. She turns inside out in atypical narratives about love, betrayal, and the attempt to repair the relationship with one's own body when boundaries have been crossed.

Sasha Adrian moves gracefully between whispering confessions and 'don't give a f*ck' fierceness, setting everyday poetic and tragicomic words in captivating melodious frames. In her live shows, she invites her audience up close, mixing dry humor with curious experiments.

With her new EP 'Shell', she has gained attention from Danish music media such as GAFFA, who awarded the music video for the track 'Adult', and international media like York Calling (UK), Illustrated Magazine (USA), and Kindline Magazine, highlighting Sasha's "ability to channel personal anguish into universal empathy" (Kindline Magazine, 2024). With a songwriter's nerve influenced by her youth spent on the East Coast of the USA, she places everyday poetic, tragicomic, and intimate words in captivating melodious frames, disarming and enveloping the listener in a warm and sometimes noisy contemporary indie universe.

VILLE
Imagine if a Danish 80s band had Cocteau Twins and The Cure as their main inspirations. Ville is a Danish-language nostalgic indie duo, their music filled with blurred synthesizers, Alvvays-esque guitars, and Miriam Villekjær's strong and honest vocals upfront. Themes of doubt and loneliness contrasted with hope and courage permeate their music, shaping Ville's universe. The music portrays a movement from stagnation to action - like a sun struggling to break through thick fog. It appeals to dreamers and doubters alike.

Ville debuted on March 7, 2025, with the single 'Du vil mere', which received airplay on P6 Beat and was featured on playlists like New Music Friday, Dansk Indie, and New Music Daily (Apple Music). The single was also mentioned in the music publication Bands of Tomorrow. On April 4, 2025, Ville's debut EP 'Er det himlen der gror?' will be released. The EP is produced by Thorbjørn Lervig (Angående Mig and others). Behind Ville are Rasmus Lykke Stenstrop and Miriam Villekjær Lassen.

Pianist and singer Victor Peter released his critically acclaimed debut album in the spring, which has been featured on P8 and established him as one of Denmark's new pop/jazz singers. He has collaborated with Danish big bands and traveled across Europe to work with international orchestras, but now you have the opportunity to hear his music seamlessly blending jazz, pop, soul, and funk.
