NECKBREAKKER
Formed in 2020 in Silkeborg, Denmark, NECKBREAKKER consists of Christoffer Kofoed (Vocals), Sebastian Knoblauch (Bass), Anton 'Hajn' Bregendorf (Drums), Joakim Kaspersen (Guitar), and Johan Lundvig (Guitar).

Despite not releasing a single song before the end of last year, NECKBREAKKER has been at the forefront of the underground metal scene, thanks to their growing reputation for delivering a blistering live show.

The young death metal band has already toured with bands such as Crypta, BAEST, and Left To Die, and has secured slots at festivals including Hellfest, Resurrection Fest, Bloodstock Open Air, Summer Breeze, Copenhell, Mystic Festival, Dynamo Metal Fest, Roskilde, Sweden Rock Festival, Tuska Festival, and Inferno Festival.

After signing with metal titan Nuclear Blast Records, NECKBREAKKER released their long-awaited debut album, Within The Viscera, on December 6, 2024.

Regarding the release of their debut album and the contract with Nuclear Blast Records, the band commented: "When we created Within The Viscera, it's fair to say we felt some pressure. Pressure to deliver an album that could live up to the hype this band has built since we started playing shows, pressure not to diminish the raw impact of the songs by finally placing them in a studio environment, and most importantly, to create a debut album we could be proud of.

We had our vision set, and we knew we wanted to do it right. And we believe we have. Within The Viscera is our strongest material yet, and we hope the joy we had in creating it shines through.

Getting the record released on Nuclear Blast was a dream come true for us, and we are honored to be part of the incredible roster alongside legends, including some of our favorite bands. The entire team's passion and support have been incredible and played a significant role in realizing the vision we had for the album."

Within The Viscera is a fierce whirlwind of youthful death metal, encapsulating the feel of the band's explosive live shows, combining the undeniable influence of classic Scandinavian death metal with the white-knuckle intensity and crunchy grooves of modern hardcore. Swirling, intricate leads collide with bone-crushing breakdowns, furious double bass pedal, and neck-snapping vocals to create nine tracks of no-nonsense metal, poised to propel NECKBREAKKER out of the underground and onto the global metal scene.
