MARABOTO is a musical journey that reflects, above all, Mexico and its diversity through Julian Maraboto's songs. But it is also the story of music written by a Mexican who left everything behind to pursue his dream in another country.

The group is composed of some of the finest Latin American and Scandinavian Latin musicians, whose hearts are filled with an array of Latin rhythms. The traditional and inherited Spanish guitar, played by none other than Mike Hecchi, the pulsating heart of Cuba through Benii Henri's double bass, and the most fiery percussion from Yannik 'Vikingo' Hartig chart the course of Julian Maraboto's songs, giving them an honest, emotional, and charismatic expression.
