The band sets sail across Denmark in the fall of 2025, dropping anchor at the country’s biggest venues and giving yet another solid headbutt to all rock-loving landlubbers near and far!

With their latest release, 'Kaptajn Overdrive' (Captain Overdrive), the band has made it clear where the pirate flag belongs. Their intense performances at Copenhell, Smuk Fest, and Jailbreak have convinced even the most skeptical dockside sailor that Danish-language pirate rock is here to stay.

Since 2019, people have traveled from near and far to witness the phenomenon that is Situationsfornærmelse.

Their genre is punk rock, and they play as if their lives depend on it. Their lyrics sketch caricatures of Danish culture, touching on political correctness and everything else we’re not supposed to talk about. The show is delivered with high energy, sharp self-irony, and absolutely no humility towards those who might think otherwise.

The Aarhus quartet writes, records, mixes, and releases all their music independently. So far, they’ve put out two critically acclaimed EPs, 'En Hurtig Omgang Dansk' (A Quick Round Danish) and 'En Hurtig Omgang Dansk i 2’eren' (A Quick Round Danish in The Number 2), plus the odd single here and there - including Maria.

With hits like 'Kaff’ Eller Knep' (Coffe' or Fuck), 'Ind Med Hænderne' (In With The Hands), and 'Camp Skrald Mig' (Camp Trash Me) - to name just a few - Situationsfornærmelse has long since proven they are a band to keep an eye on.
