Black Oak County
The award-winning hard rockers from Esbjerg have long surpassed 10 million streams on Spotify alone, and with hundreds of thousands of listeners worldwide, Black Oak County has truly taken both the Danish and international music scene by storm.
Drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical influences - spanning from classic rock legends like Black Sabbath, Mountain, and Lynyrd Skynyrd to modern heavy metal giants such as Alter Bridge, Black Label Society, and Nickelback - the band has crafted an explosive yet melodic sound packed with heavy riffs, intricate guitar work, and massive, infectious choruses.
Their critically acclaimed debut album, Black Oak County (2017), reached top positions on the Top 40 charts in several Scandinavian countries, featuring the radio hit If You Only Knew along with singles like Mad Dog and Someone Else. Their second album, Theatre of the Mind (2019), also received extensive airplay with tracks such as Watch Your Back, Pretty Pistol, and Wasted Life.
Black Oak County’s hard work was rewarded at the Den Hårde Tone 2024 award show - presented by Prime Collective, Royal Unibrew, and Tak Rock - where they won Single of the Year for Save Your Breath. The band had also been nominated in the same category the previous year for Back For Blood.
In recent years, the four hard-hitting musicians have collaborated with Grammy-nominated producers such as Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy), Søren Andersen (Glenn Hughes, Mike Tramp, Electric Guitars), and most recently Nicklas Sonne (Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, Defecto), who served as both producer and co-writer on the band’s latest album, III.
Beyond a vast number of concerts across Denmark - including supporting major acts like American supergroup The Dead Daisies and Danish rock legends D:A:D - as well as international festival performances in Scandinavia, Germany, and upcoming shows in England and Switzerland in 2025, Black Oak County has solidified its reputation as a band that gets the crowd roaring, fists pumping, and horns raised high across the globe!
Silvera
Silvera plays melodic hard rock inspired by classic hard rock and heavy rock - a musical blend of American radio rock in the vein of Nickelback and Alter Bridge, infused with a Scandinavian touch reminiscent of Danish rock powerhouse Volbeat.
The band was formed in 2017 by Michael Krogh, Simon Nilsson Krabbesmark, Rasmus Lindegård Hovde, and Jens Gade.
The four musicians had been playing together since 2015 in the hard rock band Malfunction, which later disbanded, paving the way for a name change and a slight shift in musical direction - expanding from softer ballads to a more powerful hard rock style.
In 2018, the band signed with Mighty Music and has since amassed over 3 million streams on Spotify. In 2020, Jens Gade left the band and was replaced by Martin Nielsen (Mercenary) on drums.
