For over 20 years, Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado have established themselves as Denmark's leading blues rockers. With more than 1,400 concerts across 22 different countries, they are one of the hardest-working names on the Danish and European live music scenes.

The band's dynamic performances and their ability to blend soul, Chicago blues, boogie, and rock 'n' roll create a unique musical experience that always manages to engage the audience.
With Thorbjørn Risager's powerful vocals, Joachim Svensmark's outstanding guitar work, and solid rhythm and horn sections, the band has built a reputation for energetic and engaging shows where the music both entertains and moves.

They have won numerous Danish and international awards, including Danish Music Awards for 'Danish Blues Release of the Year' and 'Best Live Blues Band of the Year' in 2023.
Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado have shared the stage with prominent names such as Bonnie Raitt, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Buddy Guy, and Robben Ford. With over 60,000 physical albums sold and 20 million streams, the band shows no signs of slowing down.
